It’s time to upgrade your fume hood. For years, professional organizations have recommended the use of airflow monitors for laboratory safety. The Rooster Monitor100 is the top fume hood monitor and indicates whether or not overall system airflow is low. If you have new hoods that did not come with airflow monitors preinstalled, need a replacement for the discontinued Alnor AirGard 315 or 335 lab hood monitor, or want a modern touch screen device to improve upon the AFA1000’s outdated technology, the Monitor100 is the solution.

The Monitor100 is a digital airflow monitor with visible, audible, and remote alarms. Safe airflow levels are displayed on a green background and, when velocity drops below a preset threshold, a red background indicates an alarm condition, and the red LED will flash. It always gives you fpm readings.

Available with a choice of sensors, the sidewall sensor is easily installed in a single- or double-walled cabinet for measuring face velocities. The probe sensor is well suited for duct velocities and can be installed above the exhaust HEPA in a BSC.
You may choose the wall mounting plate to locate the display module on the outside surface of the hood to indicate airflow or, for recessed mounting, the semi-flush mounting plate is compatible with a standard electrical box.
The lab hood monitor is easy to understand and operate and has many useful features including configurable alarms and thresholds, an analog control output, and a purge mode of operation to evacuate a cabinet. Enhancing the safety of your containment hood, Monitor100 will alarm and alert the user when there is a problem with face velocity or airflow.
