RTD1000 High-Performance Temperature Sensors
The RTD1000 series, Resistance Temperature Detector, is a high accuracy temperature sensor designed for use with our multipoint airflow instrumentation and the °C Port family of data acquisition instruments. RTD1000 augments high-accuracy air velocity measurement with precise temperature measurement in a single test setup. It is ideal for thermal testing of electronic components and assemblies. Engineers use the RTD1000 to measure temperatures of heat sinks, semiconductors, and circuit boards, while simultaneously measuring airflow, to characterize thermal conditions in electronic systems and enclosures.
The RTD1000 platform offers a choice of sensor head styles for air and gas stream measurement as well as surface temperature measurement. Core temperature sensing is done with a platinum RTD element, and sensing elements are connected to 5 meters (16.4 ft) of cable, terminating with a convenient USB connector to plug directly into °C Port data acquisition hardware or a PC.
