Looking for an “intelligent” Surface Mount Temperature Sensor that puts YOU in control of critical components?
Surface Mount Temperature Sensor
Heat can be the enemy. So, electronics manufacturers use surface mount or board mount temperature sensors to monitor PCB and other critical components. DegreeC offers a line of sensors that measure both temperature and air velocity and transfer data to a laptop or PC in real-time through a convenient USB output. These easy-placement sensors are designed for single or multi-point measurement. Choose the sensor head and flow range that best suit your application.
We also offer a line of small embedded sensors made specifically for placement on PCB or within enclosures to ensure that dense electronics get the airflow they need. These sensors use dual element sensing technology and can be directly soldered or socketed to your PCBA to manage clogged filters and air flow intake and exhaust disruptions. This insures that filtration performance and the supply of air is not compromised. If air is not moving optimally, the user is alerted to the fact that the fan’s air filter is clogged. Alarms can be set to signal when it’s time to take action to clean or replace a filter, and provides a means for additional control, such as changing fan speed or making shutdown decisions.
What makes these Surface Mount Temperature Sensors “intelligent?”
Aggregate Your Sensor Data. The AccuTrac™ software collects air velocity, air temperature, as well as humidity and altitude (or barometric pressure) data real-time and displays, saves, reviews, graphs, and prints without export to another program. Multi-Channel Data Acquisition. Connect over 100 sensors to the °C Port family of data acquisition instruments. Multiple Sensor Head Options. The °C Port Data Acquisition instruments support Degree Controls’ complete product line of USB Airflow Sensors and °C SPAR (for Data Centers and rack-mounted equipment).
