Is it time to schedule sensor calibration?

Degree Controls recommends a calibration check and recertification for airflow sensors and instruments once every 12 months, and more frequently if needed. Regular calibration service will establish traceability and help ensure that your important measurements are accurate.

Degree Controls knows the air velocity and temperature sensors we manufacture better than anyone. Our highly trained experts can make repairs, confirm sensor operation across the entire performance range, program calibration, and update firmware. As part of the calibration process, a set of adjustments will be performed to make the sensor function as accurately as possible. Other calibration sources can only provide a verification of accuracy. They cannot update the sensor calibration or adjust the response.

Your measurement data is critical to the quality of your products and processes. Begin the sensor recalibration process today and have confidence that the measurements you deliver are as accurate and reliable as possible.

Degree Controls provides calibration certificates for your records and compliance documentation. Should “As found” data be needed, our calibration professionals can provide this information as well.

Sensor calibration is a systematic process that verifies and adjusts measurements to a known reference standard. It ensures that sensors consistently provide accurate measurement results. For velocity instrumentation, Degree Controls calibrates using a NIST-traceable Dantec Laser Doppler Velocimeter (LDV) as the reference standard.
