Recalibration service for Airflow Sensors and Instrumentation

November 21, 2022 | Posted By: Degree Controls Inc.

Is it time to calibrate your airflow sensors and instrumentation?

Calibration is about measurement accuracy. Degree Controls recommends a recalibration service be performed once every 12 months for airflow sensors and sensing arrays, as well as for °C Port data acquisition instruments with built-in barometric pressure sensing. Properly calibrated airflow instrumentation gives you confidence that your test system is performing as designed, and you can count on your test results.

Initiate recalibration service today by visiting us online or contacting us at rma@degreec.com. Calibration is done by our highly trained specialists, using NIST traceable Dantec laser Doppler equipment, and following ISO-9001 certified processes. Degree Controls responds promptly and always performs a full re-certification of air velocity sensors and airflow tools and instruments. Other calibration sources can only verify accuracy; they cannot reprogram the instrumentation or confirm operation across its entire performance range.

ISO/IEC 17025, General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, is the international reference for testing and calibration laboratories wanting to demonstrate their capacity to deliver reliable results. It is also used by universities, research centers, product certification companies, and other organizations involved in testing, sampling, or calibration. Contact your Degree C representative if ISO 17025 accreditation is needed.
