B-Series Probe Style and Bi-Directional
B-Series bi-directional, air velocity and temperature sensors are ideal for combustion, curing, and process control applications where the direction of airflow or detection of flow reversal is important to safety, containment, cleanliness, or process quality. B-Series sensors are configured-to-order.
The B-Series platform measures and outputs airflow direction, as well as air velocity and air temperature, in real-time. With the bi-directional air velocity sensing capability of B-Series sensors, flow direction is determined, and flow reversals are detected.
Rugged B-Series sensors combine sensing, computing, and communication in a sealed enclosure with conformal coated sensor electronics. B-Series sensors are configured to order with a variety of choices for mechanical lengths, velocity ranges, output communication styles, and installation fittings. B-Series sensor output may be configured as 0-5V, 0-10V, 0-20mA, 4-20mA, UART, I2C, or with simultaneous analog and digital communications.
The low voltage B300 model has a nominal supply input of 12VDC, while the universal voltage B500 accepts 24VAC/VDC, making it ideal for applications where AC or DC supply voltages are encountered. The B500 has a wider operating temperature range than that of the B300, and is capable of handling low temperature environments down to -10°C (14°F).
