The portable °C Point Anemometer makes it easy to measure airflow and transmit data. Powerful application software sends velocity and air temperature from the °C Point sensor to your Android/iPhone device through Bluetooth. Unlike a vane anemometer with an analog output, there is no wiring involved with the °C Point. You don’t need to be […]
Fans are used across a wide variety of machinery in a multitude of industries. Cooling, drying, material transportation, and chemical processing are just a few of the many applications. To keep systems and processes running smoothly, engineers integrate airflow switches into their industrial automation to detect when fans are not moving enough air. Where fans […]
It may be time to recalibrate your °C Point anemometer to ensure the continued accuracy of data and measurements. We make it easy to stay up to date on °C Point recalibration. At startup, the LCD screen displays the calibration due date for the sensor head, and you can always calibrate more frequently if you […]
January is a good time to recalibrate your sensors. We recommend a yearly calibration interval, and we will help you with a calibration solution. Once you’ve determined which sensors need recalibrating, please order online at our webstore, or email rma@degreeC.com with your request. “Before data” is an option. Our expert team conducts NIST traceable velocity […]
Not everyone uses Degree Controls sensors in the same way, and OEM applications often have unique requirements. To meet the needs of our customers, we provide configuration options for our airflow switches and sensors. You can select features like air velocity profile or trip point, supply voltage, analog output, digital communication, and mechanical length. In […]
Do you need to optimize cooling for your telecom enclosure? Thermal analysis for electronic products is critical throughout the design process, however it can be time consuming to get a comprehensive understanding of thermal behavior. Choosing the right sensors and data acquisition system makes a positive impact on the amount of time and effort required […]
Is it time to add a thermal anemometer to your tool kit, or upgrade to a new digital anemometer? The °C Point anemometer is designed for face velocity measurements within fume hoods and cabinets. Capable of measuring velocity with ± 3% accuracy, by the ANSI/ASHRAE 110 standard for laboratory fume hood testing, °C Point provides […]
Do you need to evaluate the airflow performance of refrigeration equipment? Manufacturers of refrigeration equipment are constantly working to improve refrigeration technologies, and their engineering teams rely on multipoint airflow instrumentation as they create new and advanced solutions. For instance, multipoint UAS1000 air velocity and temperature sensors are used to establish fan data for unit […]
Calibrate your airflow sensors before year-end! Decisions are made based on measurement data, so it’s important to have your sensors working properly. Degree Controls performs air velocity sensor and instrument calibrations in NIST traceable wind tunnels using a Dantec laser Doppler anemometer. With expanded production capacity, lead time for sensor calibration is even shorter than […]
Sensor Recalibration Provides Confidence in Measurement Situations Is it time to recalibrate your sensors? Degree Controls recommends that sensors be recalibrated on an annual basis to verify that they meet or exceed the published specifications. Sensor recalibration helps to ensure that measurements of control variables are accurate for your experimentation and production processes. Degree Controls […]
