Chosen by OEMs and Certifiers for Airflow Monitoring Within Lab Hoods
Thank you! We are glad we got to meet with so many of you at the CETA Annual Meeting earlier this month. For those of you who missed it, the latest Rooster™ lab hood airflow monitor interface software gives users the option to calibrate cabinets using an integrated certification sensor with automated entry of face velocity measurements. The Rooster™ guides the user to define grid patterns for sash open and sash operational positions. Then, the Rooster™ automatically calculates average face velocity from measurements made by the °C Point anemometer at multiple grid points across the sash plane, to establish low flow and normal operating conditions. Measured values are transmitted from the °C Point anemometer to the airflow monitor via Bluetooth.
The Rooster™ Monitor provides a digital display of measured air velocity and temperature, whole screen background colorization indicating current state, and on-screen notifications to provide users with comprehensive airflow information in real time. It can be built into any containment cabinet with private labeling, and customized interface screens are available as well.
Base models for the Rooster™ Monitor are Monitor100 and Monitor200. The Monitor200 is a feature-rich, BACnet® MS/TP capable controller with a more advanced feature set than the Monitor100. Scalable analog output to change the position of a damper or control fan speed, sash position sensing, and volumetric flow capability are just a few of the Monitor200’s many features providing users with enhanced control of ventilation systems.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions about the Rooster™ airflow monitors for fume hoods and biosafety cabinets.
