Do you want to improve your commercial HVAC system and receive early warning of trouble?

The F500 HVAC airflow sensor is used to measure air moving through ducts and vents, allowing the system to monitor and regulate airflow distribution throughout a building. Based on air velocity and temperature measurements from the F500, fan speeds and damper positions are adjusted to ensure proper indoor air quality (IAQ) and energy efficiency.

With conformal coated electronics and a sealed enclosure, the 24VAC/VDC F500 is a versatile, rugged, probe-style airflow sensor. It is designed for managing airflow in a wide range of HVAC applications and is configured to order, with choices for sensor length, air velocity range, output, and mounting fitting style.

For those who want to avoid the potential for noise on an analog output, the F500 supports choice of UART or I2C digital output. If communications are not available, or you have a DAQ (data acquisition) system which takes in analog signals only, the F500 sensor can be configured to have analog outputs for both air velocity and temperature. 0 – 10VDC output signals are often selected over 0 – 5VDC signals to achieve a finer resolution, and 4 – 20mA analog current signals are preferred by those with a long cable run.

Try the F500 HVAC airflow sensor now to optimize the operation of your system and achieve early detection of issues such as clogged filters, faulty equipment, and leaky ducts.

Thank you for your consideration.

The F‐Series sensor utilizes either a gland fitting or °C Clamp for installation.

The cable gland can be used for wall thicknesses ranging from 1 – 4 mm and allows for trouble-free mounting from one side.

The adjustable °C Clamp is fastened to a surface with two screws and uses a separate threaded screw to apply pressure and hold the sensor in place.
