Air velocity datalogging can help you optimize building performance.
Get data faster.

By tracking air velocity throughout your building, you get an understanding of issues in real time.
Identify areas with high or low airflow.
Measuring velocity at various points throughout your facility gives you the opportunity to achieve even air distribution. You may need to change damper settings, adjust ductwork, or modify fan speeds to balance airflow.
Assess HVAC system performance.
Comparing measured air velocities to design specifications helps you determine if your HVAC system is operating as intended. Clogged filters, failing fans, and leaky ducts are just some of the potential issues performance testing will reveal.
Maintain indoor air quality.
Proper airflow brings in and circulates fresh air, and removes pollutants, which leads to good IAQ (indoor air quality) and comfortable indoor spaces.

We’ve designed our air velocity sensors to accommodate you.
The F400 air velocity and temperature sensor operates on industry standard 24VDC power. It is configurable, with choices for velocity range, probe length, and output. To comply with diverse duct velocity requirements, velocity profiles extend from 0.15 to 20 m/s (30 to 4,000 fpm), and, to fit ducts of different widths and diameters, probe lengths range from 4.5” to 11.3”. 0-5V and 0-10V analog outputs are available for both velocity and temperature. You may also choose from UART or I2C communication if digital data transfer is preferred for air velocity datalogging.
The F400 features printed insertion depth markings and embossed airflow indicators to make the installation process as easy as possible. Your choice of locking gland nut or °C Clamp ensures that the sensor will stay fixed once installed.
