AdaptivCOOL Joins Gov. Lynch On Trade Mission to Canada

Milford, NH – April 11, 2011 - Rajesh Nair, Founder and CTO of Degree Controls Inc., joined Governer John Lynch on the New Hampshire Trade Mission to Montreal, Canada, April 7 and 8.

The Trade Mission, organized by the N.H. International Trade Resource Center (ITRC), was designed to assist New Hampshire businesses with exports to Canada. In addition, the mission promotes trade, tourism, investment and cultural relations between New Hampshire and Quebec.

Rajesh Nair joined the New Hampshire Trade Mission to meet and establish relationships wtih partners and potential customers for AdaptivCOOL, a division that specializes in green data center cooling solutions.

"As the second-largest trading partner with the United States and our closest neighbor, the Trade Mission represents a unique opportunity for me to make valuable contacts among Canada's data center power and cooling market as partners and potential customers, " said Mr. Nair.

AdaptivCOOL's technology reduces the energy consumed to cool data centers by roughly 30 percent. AdaptivCOOL's patented solution takes advantage of the overabundance of cold air in a data center by dynamically targeting airflow where and when it is needed via a series of networked air movers. In addition to energy savings, the IT capacity of the data center can be significantly increased using this technology. This technology received the Green IT award from the Japanese government and is approved for energy rebates by many utilities in the U.S.
