MicroFlow Tunnel Measures CFM Air Flow in Electronics Packaging
Degree Controls is pleased to offer the Cambridge AccuSense Microflow Tunnel, designed to measure the airflow volume through densely populated, low cfm, electronics packaging.
Most small electronic products employ passive airflow for cooling. Until now, an instrument to measure airflow in the micro flow range has not been available. The MicroFlow Tunnel provides accurate and repeatable airflow volume measurements from 0.60 scfm to 6.00 scfm. The device under test is ducted to the MicroFlow tunnel and quantitative measurements of the airflow are taken in a short period of time.
The MicroFlow Tunnel can be used to validate the airflow through phones, laptops, portable medical diagnostic equipment or other small electronic devices. This easy-to-use instrument provides design engineers with an accurate way to measure the micro air volumes typical of passive airflow cooling and ensure the thermal reliability of these devices.
