Validation
DegreeC offers a complete validation service to test for thermal design integrity of your system. CATT's fully equipped laboratory includes a variety of testing tools such as wind tunnels, thermal imaging camera, thermocycling chamber, and acoustic testing. When designing thermal management systems, validation of the design through experimentation is a crucial part of the product development process. Without proper experimentation and design validation, unforeseen thermal problems can easily occur.
Examples of DegreeC validation testing projects include:
- System flow and thermal characterization of subracks and full racks including system flow resistance, thermal testing, and predetermination of required airflow
- Turnkey evaluation of fan trays as well as fan and system qualification
- Component level thermal validation testing such as thermal characterization of electrical components
- Flow and thermal characteristics of heat sinks and individual PC boards
