Thermal Controllers represent the absolute core of DegreeC expertise. Over more than a decade, we have designed many hundreds of thermal controllers and our team is fast and sure at customizing controllers for a wide variety of thermal circumstances. 

Many of our custom clients have thermal expertise in-house and asked us if we could provide them with a “tools-of-the-thermal-trade” board that they could use to get started thinking productively about possible thermal issues and solutions in whatever product they had next in the pipeline. In response, a few years ago, we created a small line of standard thermal controllers called PRONTOFLOW.

PRONTOFLOW thermal controllers are design aids. We’ve incorporated lots of features into a few boards to allow thermal engineers anywhere to play with fan controls over a wide range of power and thermal conditions. Most of the time, a PRONTOFLOW board will have features not needed for the application and it will make sense to take out those features (and their associated costs) – resulting in a custom board after all. But in the meantime, the process of characterizing and dealing with thermal issues got a big head start!
