Degree Controls provides thermal and airflow solutions for a variety of industries including telecommunications, information technologies, medical equipment, cleanrooms, critical containment, and other applications. Degree Controls consists of 3 divisions, DegreeC, Cambridge AccuSense, and the Center for Airflow & Thermal Technologies, known as CATT.

The DegreeC line focuses on intelligent fan trays and intelligent controllers to manage your cooling system. Cambridge AccuSense is a specialist in air velocity sensing with products for testing and analysis of airflow as well as sensors for continuous monitoring in an installed location. CATT offers thermal design, analysis and testing services including heat sink design and manufacturing. CATT thermal experts have knowledge from system level to component level cooling.

Do you manufacture in house?

We do final assembly and QC in house. Board manufacturing and stuffing along with metal fabrication is outsourced from approved ISO vendors.

Do you have testing capability?

Yes. The CATT division is capable of environmental stress testing using HALT/HASS, reliability testing and compliance testing such as UL, CA, TUL and TUC. We are equipped to perform the following Bellcore/NEBS tests:

  • Vibration testing
  • Thermal shock
  • EMI/EMC/ESD
  • Product safety
  • Temperature and humidity

We are equipped on site with the following: Laboratory

  • Wind tunnels
  • Thermal cycling chambers
  • Burn-in racks
  • Compliance Engineers

Do you have a standard controller?

Yes, we offer the PRONTOflow line of standard controllers and fan trays. PRONTOflow has a wide range of technical properties that can be configured directly by the customer using the PRONTOflow software.

Who is our main contact for the project?

Each engineering project is assigned a Client Manager. The CM will remain the main point of contact for the duration of the project.
